It is the ultimate question whether someone wants it to be or not!. It is a question that everyone and every civilization answered before they carried on with their existence!.

Some consider the question and come to the conclusion that God exists, while others consider it for a short while, reject the idea, forget about it and carry on with their lives!. It is the accepting and rejecting of God that decides the course of our life!. If we accept the idea, we try to live according to what we think He prefers; and if we reject it, we live however we want without the fear of reckoning!. Everyone one considers the question even if they don't want to think they did, or forgot that they did!. You can't reject the idea of a God, without considering it, nor can you accept it without considering it!. You also can't live your life 'properly'--which will be dependent on your answer--without answering it!.

It is therefore a very important question indeed!. It is not a matter of 'is it important to deal with it!?', but it simply is dealt with!. And it will be resolved eventually!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

We are in a physical reality!. God is Spirit the true reality!.

You are mortal you have a beginning but you may not have an end!. As a child of God you will be spirit and as such there is eternal life!.

But this is the potential of who and what you maybe for you are not there until you choose this reality through faith, for you as a mortal are a faith child and as such you must choose God over self in order to survive to the spirit level of life!.This choosing shows you are willing to be guided in this new life by the will of God the law of eternal life which all spirit sees as their purpose in life!.

You will learn that you increase your burdens and decrease the likelihood of success by taking yourself too seriously!. Nothing can take precedence over the work of your status sphere--this world or the next!. Very important is the work of preparation for the next higher sphere, but nothing equals the importance of the work of the world in which you are actually living!. But though the work is important, the self is not!. When you feel important, you lose energy to the wear and tear of ego dignity so that there is little energy left to do the work!. Self-importance, not work-importance, exhausts immature creatures; it is the self element that exhausts, not the effort to achieve!. You can do important work if you do not become self-important; you can do several things as easily as one if you leave yourself out!. Variety is restful; monotony is what wears and exhausts!. Day after day is alike--just life or the alternative of death!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I think in some people it shapes the entire way they live, but to others it doesn't phase them!. Just depends on personal goals and developing the character that you want to have!. It may be motivating for many to see the "light at the end of the tunnel", but others just accept life the way it is and don't need to know why!. I'm more of the optimistic kind, and I continue wondering about God!.

For anyone interested in this topic, I'd recommend John Hick's book "Evil and the God of Love"!. His theodicy is very reassuring, yet controversial!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Perhaps the more relevant question is, If there were a God why would the lives and habits of humans mean anything at all to it, what evidence can you offer for the proposition that God takes any interest in the affairs of humans!. None, the idea of God was an invention of intelligent but profoundly ignorant men seeking to explain their existence!. A cursory examination of the books they have written will suffice to illustrate the foolishness they contain!. In closing I would ask you to consider this; what would change if there were no God what would be different right now Www@QuestionHome@Com

Names of God
Conceptions of God can vary widely, but the word God in English—and its counterparts in other languages, such as Latinate Deus, Greek Θε??, Slavic Bog, Sanskrit Ishvara, or Arabic Allah—are normally used for any and all conceptions!. The same holds for Hebrew El, but in Judaism, God is also given a proper name, the tetragrammaton (usually reconstructed as Yahweh), believed to hark back to the religion's henotheistic origins!. In the Bible, when the word "Lord" is in all capitals, it signifies that the word represents the tetragrammaton!.[8] God may also be given a proper name in monotheistic currents of Hinduism which emphasize the personal nature of God, with early references to his name as Krishna-Vasudeva in Bhagavata or later Vishnu and Hari,[9] or recently Shakti!.

It is difficult to draw a line between proper names and epitheta of God, such as the names and titles of Jesus in the New Testament, the names of God in the Qur'an, and the various lists of thousand names of God and List of titles and names of Krishna in Vaishnavism!.

Existence of God
Many arguments for and against the existence of God have been proposed and rejected by philosophers, theologians, and other thinkers!. In philosophical terminology, such arguments concern schools of thought on the epistemology of the ontology of God!.

There are many philosophical issues concerning the existence of God!. Some definitions of God are sometimes nonspecific, while other definitions can be self-contradictory!. Arguments for the existence of God typically include metaphysical, empirical, inductive, and subjective types, while others revolve around holes in evolutionary theory and order and complexety in the world!. Arguments against the existence of God typically include empirical, deductive, and inductive types!. Conclusions reached include: "God exists and this can be proven"; "God exists, but this cannot be proven or disproven" (theism in both cases); "God does not exist" (strong atheism); "God almost certainly does not exist"[12] (de facto atheism); and "no one knows whether God exists" (agnosticism)!. There are numerous variations on these positions!.

A recent argument for the existence of God is intelligent design,[13] which asserts that "certain features of the universe and of living things are best explained by an intelligent cause, not an undirected process such as natural selection!."[14] It is a modern form of the traditional argument from design, modified to avoid specifying the nature or identity of the designer!. Its primary proponents, all of whom are associated with the Discovery Institute,[15] believe the designer to be the Abrahamic God!.[16]

i think the pursuit of truth and knowledge in all things is the most powerful thing, and the most benificial to all human beings!. this includes resolving the god question!.

though, science has now reached the stage where physics and the concept of god cannot co-exist, though most do not know science deep enough!.

it used to be the common person would not even know of gravity, not know how to calculate the area of a square!. give it 100 years or two!. though i'm doubtful we will last that long!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

There is one creator of man and no matter how you summons this creator, be it, God, Buddha, Allah; this creator made us all equally and provided everyone of us with the abilities to survive and succeed here and now!.
It is up to each of us to find the keys that unlock the resources placed in every one of us and realize, this is HELL and Heaven is what you make of it!.
By placing "if" in the middle of "Life", it allows every one of us equally to make proper decisions that will either positively or negatively impact each of us, directly or indirectly and challenge all of us at the same time!.
On this side of life, there is NO Power Higher than Yourself and by everyone becomes unequal, greedy, abusive and rude to one another without this element in our hearts and souls, we all become the "same," corrupt, no longer equals, as we were created to be and overcome this HELL together!. As we lose this very important element that is abused, forgotten and is constantly being thrashed around!. We don't even know the kind of HELL this element is protecting us from!. It could mean doom for us all if, collectively, we all continue to thrash it around and become desensitized or refuse that it even exists!. Is it too late to help restore it and bring it back in to our souls!? This of course is the "Human Element!." Those that discount, doubt and question if we still use or need it or not, will all be gathered and confused how we all individually and equally questioned"if" 'this element is an integral part of my everyday situations, encounters and existence would I be in the HELL I wish I weren't!?
