If you meant to say: Sad piano pieces are more beautiful than happier pieces ; then yes i do agree!. Touching and audience is quite difficult!. When a sad piece is written, the artiste was probably in a difficult moment of their life (weather it was only a fight or the lose of someone close!.) So of course it will be more touching because the artiste felt so much while writing it!. A Happier piece can be written without feeling such strong emotions!. One of my favorite movies is Ingmar Bergman's "Autumn Sonata," which is definitely worth watching if you're a fan of sad piano music!.
