This summer, me and my brother went on holiday with our dad and stepmother, and also my stepmothers brother and his family!. We rented a dilapidated cottage in France for two weeks in August!. It was our fourth year there!. We all had jobs around the house (helping with cooking, cleaning etc) and one of mine was hanging up the washing every day after the beach!. I had a routine - go home, shower, wash everything and then collect it all together in this big wicker basket and go on down to the field where the washing line was!. The house wasn't too far away, but it was silent and peaceful and you couldn't hear anything for miles around, and I would just hang up the washing and for some reason that made me extraordinarily happy!. I don't know why, and we're not going back again!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
