Question: Repost -- Can a question be ignorant!?
Okay, obviously a person can be ignorant -- that's why he's asking the question; he doesn't know!. Can the question itself be ignorant!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

I would say no only because saying the question is ignorant would personify the question and seeing that the question is no more than a display of someones ignorance the question in it self wouldn't be ignorant!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

A question is words - words are objects with assigned meanings!.
Words can't be ignorant any more than rocks or computers!

You can ask "right" questions that take you where
you need to go or want to go depending on the
situation in order to meet the goal you want to meet
(ultimately) or you can ask the "wrong" question that will
lead you the way you do not need or want to
go or lead to a dead end!. Then there are better and
worse questions to ask as well!.

We are all ignorant!. The first step to learning anything is admitting that you don't know it!. Those who cannot admit that they don't know something are terminally ignorant!. Yes, a question can ONLY be ignorant!. The cure is to get the answer!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
