Question: If morality included animals, what are some 'immoral' acts made by animals!?
The first part of my question is debatable, contractialism excludes animals, however, animal activists argue otherwise!.

I just want some examples of animal nature that may be viewed as 'immoral'!.

For example, a female preying mantis eats her partner after mating!.!.!.if a human did that she would be charged with murder, because killing is immoral

Well, if you want to pretend that animals are humans, I read about a certain type of bird that could be considered "immoral!."

First, the mother bird would lay a large egg!. Then the father bird would transport the egg to a nest belonging to "another" bird!. And check this out- the father bird destroys the other eggs and replaces it with his own egg!. So, basically this particular type of bird kills the offspring of other birds and forces these poor birds to raise their chick!. And if the other birds choose not to raise their chicks, the father bird comes back, harasses them, and destroys their nest!

Now, pretending that these birds are human!.!.!. that's pretty evil!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Neah, don't even go there! Morals and morality are by humans, for humans!. Animals are not included!. Being aware of morals implies the ability to reason and articulate in expression of self!. Animals live more by instinct than reason!.!.!.so you can't force them to accept something they do not and NEVER WILL understand!.

I think animals are far more innocent than human beings could ever hope to be,so if there are any lessons to be learned, it should come from animals TO humans, not the other way around!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Animals being a part of nature, define morality, define the standard that humanity is aiming at - i!.e to be in harmony with nature ourselves!.

Animals not living in nature, for example domesticated animals, might act immorally, but, the burden of this immoral behavior, the immorality, we must bear because we took them out of nature!.

Hence animals can not be immoral!.

Hilarious question dear!.!.!. Animals act directly through their instinct!. They will do whatever their instinct tells them to do!.!.!. We don't need to justify their action when they commit immorality for they don't have reason!. Everything always falls in part of humans!. If an animal commit immorality then it is our decision matters!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

heaps interesting question!.!.!.well humans are animals!.!.!. and neanderthals and all primitive humans acted just like "animals", and were part of the food chain!.!.!. however our intelligence allowed us to effectively gain control over our environment!.!.!.which ended the need to live for survival and live off instinct!.!.!.

although studies have shown in certain species of mammals there is a much lower rate of reproduction in immediate relatives!.!.!.

wow i cant answer that though im going to have to go have a think haha ask an animal psychologist!!!!

I just can't, in my mind, say that something an animal does is immoral!. Because it is just nature!. I can't put these together!. They are like 2 magnets of the same charge!. They look th same, feels the same and act the same!. But can't go together!.

Saying that an animal doing something is immoral would be saying that nature is Immoral!. And it isn't!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Once a chimpanzee threw poo at me and my girlfriend at the zoo!. I also once saw a dog hump a cat!. let's see what else!.!.!. I saw a youtube clip of an orangutan peeing in his own mouth!. A dog bit my leg a few years back for absolutely no reason whatsoever!. My dog's mother humps my dog on a regular basis!. I caught 5 lizards when I was young and the big one ate the other ones!. (I named him Jeffery after Jeffery Dahmer)!. My dog peed on my bed, and eats garbage!. My aunts bird crapped on my new pants!. Horses poo while walking!. etc etc etc!. I think pretty much everything they do would be immoral if we did it!. cause they don't have higher brain function like we do!. So you can't really hold them to the same standard!. Or we'd have to make gigantic animal prisons!. (wait we alread them they're called zoos)Www@QuestionHome@Com

In my view, our morality is primarily aimed towards protection of our society against harm through any individual or group actions!.!.!.!.!.!.!. that includes animals and others and that's why we kill man-eaters, venomous species etc!. and spend trillions to eradicate pests, insects, viruses etc!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
