Question: Philosophy defined as the quest/drive toward/for wisdom !.How would you defend this statement!?

It needs no defense!. That is what philosophy has always been!. It is defined as the love of knowledge!.!.!. the pursuit of truth!. It is science, without the strictness of empiricism; it is religion, without the faith to dogma!. Both science and religion seek truth in their own way, and philosophy is no different!. It is the systematic and analytical approach to discovering new knowledge, relying solely on thought experimentation, logic, introspective observation, and I suppose to some degree observation of the real world as well!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Philosophy is the first science!. I mean before science (empirical) as we know it there was philosophy!. philosophy is the father of science!. is the quest for answers, particularl why!? Www@QuestionHome@Com
