This ideally should not happen, as life should be a smooth and consistent state of wakefulness, with an ever-increasing level of knowledge, understanding and awareness; all things in life should improve and progress peacefully and often noticeably!. As for instance, we like to progress from our home life to our school environment - from upbringing to education, and then to the wider world around, as through our active participations in more serious matters and concerns in life!. If that progression is without any considerable hitch or a break then we are more likely to enjoy a confident, reliable and normal adult life!.

But life is rarely normal for everyone, and there are instances in the life every person that bring in their wake some extra ordinary amount of knowledge and awareness, where we become aware of the realities of life that if it were in our deliberate control we would avoid!. Sometimes we suddenly aware of certain things, and sometimes we become sensitised by our experiences, sometimes, unpleasant surprises and unlikely happenings take the better of us!. Life is such an unexpected unfolding for most people that there hardly is a moment that is not a moment of wakening for the mind that is alive, for the heart that feels and for the eyes that can see!.

There are not always unpleasant things that wake us up into certain unprecedented realities of our lives, as good things too have their rewards in knowledge and awareness, as for instance, when a child is born for the first time in a household, when someone of our friends and family registers some extraordinary feet of achievement or success in life, or when we suddenly find a fortune for ourselves, our lives encounters sudden changes!.

I woke up to life with such degree of awareness sometimes in the past, a time when I was not able to fully appreciate the change, that now all things seem to me normal!. And seldom is there something that causes my mind to be taken by a surprise or revolution!. This is a state that is permanently set in my mind, as state of constant, consistent and often uncomfortable wakefulness that I often do not find a good use of!. I often dream of some forgetfulness, some repose into mindlessness, or some natural slumber for a change, but once the mind has entered into a state the better of which cannot be easily found then the process is almost irreversible!. The cost of wakefulness toward certain things is often indifference towards some other!. There is nothing without a reason and without it rightful place in the world, as in the mind!. If something out of the extraordinary happens in life causing extraordinary awareness that one got to be careful for at the same time certain other things might be loosing their place therein!.

This is good to be alive and this is peace that we seek for ourselves, as we should seek for all around us!. I find that most people in their lives either are fast asleep, or they are making efforts to fall in to a peaceful slumber in for of a lifestyle, a profession, a place, passion, a pursuit or an enterprise, once their they go to sleep again only to woken up by something extraordinary happening, and the process go on and on!. I can imagine how hard it is for most people to stay awake, to stay sensitive towards the ones they should love and care, to risks to lives and livelihood, to their health and values, but it is also easy to make certain changes that should be made only when we are not all sleeping!.

Yes indeed my epiphany happened 3/3/06 as I was laying the hospital bed with my blood pressure reading 215/189 and listening to the nurses say I should be feeling much worst than I was and my baby's heart beat should be racing by now, but we were perfect I felt fine!. At that moment I decided to live life the fullest and stop sweating the small things!.!.!.!.!.WHOA!!!! ITZ GOOD 2 B ALIVE?Www@QuestionHome@Com

I remember a moment when I was 23!. I was just walking down the road, and I thought "is this it!?"

After that, the worm turned!. It was painful, but I got rid of the dead wood in my life and slowly began to change into the real me!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
