Question: If there are more human like civilizations out there, why are we born on earth!?
I've been giving much thought lately about the prospect of alien civilizations which are as or more advanced than us!. According to the drake equasion, the frequency of earth like planets is about 10 per galaxy (with taking all possible factors into consideration)!.
So if their are literally trillions of intelligant beings in the universe, I wonder why our soul chose to occupy a body on earth - and not elsewhere!. And indeed, where do these souls come from in the first place!. also - what do you think of the prospect of an alternate reality, which 'respawns' our souls as time itself progresses, since giving the vastness of time itself, if we consider every civilization in spaces history, the amount of beings must run into 1,000,000,000,000 x 10000 (you get the idea)!. So where does this 'bank' of souls which occupy this many bodies come from - and do you think its possible our soul could respawn at a later date!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

Only an intelligent person would think about such a topic!. I have been studying the Vedas, the most ancient texts known to man, originating from India!. From what I have studied, I can answer your questions!.
First off, I would like to tell you that all planets have intelligent life on them!. A planet does not need to have the frequency of earth to have life!. Why would there be so much space with only a bit being used!? That makes no logical sense!. Earthling bodies are made from earthly elements!.!.!. therefore, we can conclude that the bodies of beings dwelling on other planets are made from their planet's elements!. For example!.!. Beings living on the sun would have bodies composed of fire!.
There are many universes, and many many planets that we don't even know about!. Our souls chose which planet or world we end up in, usually subconsciously!. These choices are decided by our actions!. Surely you have heard of Karma!? Karma simply means action!. Scientifically, we have figured out that every action has a reaction!. Therefore, every action we make, be it physical or mental, has a reaction!. Knowing this makes it easy to understand how we either consciously, or subconsciously, send our souls to one planet or another!. Some planets are "heavenly" while others are "hellish"!. There are also "middle" planets, which is what planet earth is!. A middle planet can have beautiful high and incredibly spiritual vibrations effecting it while also being influenced by more dark, lower and destructive vibrations!. We experience both on a daily basis on planet earth!. Your thoughts and actions decide which kind of planet you will be on in your next lives to come!.
Our souls are "eternal" meaning they were never born, and will never die!. The only births and deaths we experience are in the "material world", where many heavenly, middle and hellish planets exist!. We can been here eternally taking on many many many bodies!. When we can reach the "spiritual world" the pain and suffering of birth, disease, old age, and death comes to a halt , and we can finally feel blissful!.
Time is like a record!. There are many different tracks, in which you can "step sideways" to get to another track!. This also explains our "akashic records"!. All of the tracks are spinning at once!.!.!. therefore!.!. all of time is NOW!.
The bank of souls occupying the bodies are all of the souls being reincarnated over and over again as they are "trapped" in this material existence!. A man or woman living out a life in the 12th century is certainly living in another body (human or animal) of the 20th century, unless of course that soul has escaped the web of the material world!.

It is hard to breathe in space!. So we "choose" to be born on a planet!.
Since all of these "earth-like" planets are rather "earth-like" it seems you chose a rather "earth-like" planet!. Maybe on some nearly identical world called Threa they are asking why did they choose to be on Threa instead of some Threa-like world!. Man, if you keep on thinking about those things it will just knock out your mind off the reality!. The idea of beings aside from us "humans" are mere association of theories which need to be proved yet!. As for a soul, you don't have a soul!.!.!.yet!. You have a body with a cellular structure!. That is as far as nature takes you!. If you want a soul, that is, a body with a molecular structure, that can go anywhere AIR can go, you need to create your own by self-remembering, by waking up, by becoming conscious!.
