Question: How is a statement true when conditions in a physical world are arbitrary!?
I view life as a chess board!.!.!. the rules to chess apply to chess, but the rules of chess have no basis of logical reason on other rules!.!.!. other words- someone decided 2+2=4 instead of j+j=4!.!.!. this is because 2 represents the quanity of (for example) 2 cupcakes and another 2 cupcakes is 4 cupcakes!.!.!. 2+2 is not the same as the cupcake situation, it only helps represent the cupcakes to make life more stable in a chaotic universe!.!.!.

it helps with this idea to keep in mind that my signature is not me!.!. me=me and the cupcakes are not identical to 2+2Www@QuestionHome@Com

it is about subjectivism and objectivism!. How indeed can we prove the truth that the ordinal of 2 is 2 if we did not learn it in elem!. math(objective)!. For all we know, ordinals on the respective number lines could be different(subjective)!.

How can we know a pear tree is indeed a pear tree and not an apple tree!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

You are confusing words with concepts!.

Take for example several years back when Prince changed his stage name to an unpronounceable symbol and he went by 'The artist formerly known as Prince'!. But he was still the same musician, the concept of 'Prince' remained the same, even though the terminology was different!.

The idea of '2' is such that it is not possible that 2+2<>4!. The very idea of '2' is a concept!. We could call ot 'j' instead, or even 'The number formerly known as 2' and the concept, the idea of 2ness would be the same!. Cupcakes is a different concept, based on a concrete!. Then the concepts are combined to give the concept of 'two cupcakes!.'

Words are used to refer to concepts, and without words, conceptualization would be impossible, but they do not include the concept itself!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Change the order of mathematical operations and you change the answer to the math problem!.

The world is relative, not absolute!.

I agree that there are universal laws, not just physical ones but spiritual ones as well!.

I do not agree that the universe is constant, unchanging and orderly!.
The universe is changing and that change can be interpreted as chaos!.

You are saying that number is not a quality!? That in describing a pair of cupcakes the number plays no part!? I always understood that definitions were integral to comprehension!. In which case 2 is a quality and there is a definite relationship between 2+2=4!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

The rules of chess apply to chess but the rules of math apply to everything!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

The universe isn't chaotic, it's actually orderly!. It follows rules that can be quantified!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
