If anyone from heaven should come and fetch the souls, he would have definitely been doomed to hell!. Souls go where they deserve to go after they leave the body!. If they have had a nice and brilliant life, they will be light enough to follow the energy of the universe which makes the world go round (called Love to me, and God to christians, who also say god is love)!. If the soul has not been able to shine from the inside of the body, then, it will have to live yet again in the body until it finds its own way to glow, and ascend to "heaven"(I hate using this word to make myself clear)!. So finally, I don't believe there is a soul collector!. I believe each soul finds it's way to the forever shining energy, or to the forever worldly life!. Good luck! People would place coins over the eyes of their dead to give them passage to the underworld!. Sometimes Hermes, but those are only in rare circumstances when Zeus commanded it!. I think when people die they go to the pearly gates and are judged by Saint Peter and if they were good they go into Heaven if they were bad they go to Hell!. Or so the myth says!.
