Question: Why is fractal math is closely related to nature!?
I'm not sure why is fractal relate to nature!. Please explain it in a simple way cause im not a mathematician!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

First of all we need to understand what is natural fractal in a layman terms!. It is a natural pattern or natural fenomena and it could be at a sub-atomic level (smallest) or the universe itself (largest)!. These objects display self-similar structure over an extended, but finite, scale range!. Example of natural fractal are human skin, hair, quartz, virus, bacteria, galaxy, star cluster, supernova, drug molecule and so on!.
A good example of man-made fractal are the design of modern high rise building (example: KLCC twin tower and China main Olympic Stadium)!. Most people tend to misclassified an abstract art as fractal when they see a few repetative pattern although the pattern does not bind or syn to the overall image!. Mandelbrot gave us a very good fractal formula but we (or the software developer) tend to abuse it in absence of the public knowledge about fractal!. There are thousands of fractal formula that humand have yet to discover if not our creator would not have the ability to create the universe with a single bang!.

That's actually a very good question, but in order to understand the answer, you need to at least have an inkling of the math!. A major reason is data compression!. Many plants and animals need organs, such as lungs or brains, with a large surface area relative to volume!. The resulting structure must have an intricate geometry!. Coding the whole thing in the genes would be inefficient so instead they code a recursive algorithm to generate it!.

Another reason is turbulance!. Consider each particle in a moving fluid as a point in space!. In turbulant motion, this space gets stretched and folded repeatedly so that if we have a structure embedded in the space that starts out simple, it will become extremely complex over time, with fractal geometry!. It is the ability of it to build a structure at different scales via the same formula, especially when we compare that to growth of animals and plants!. (ie!. things are kept to similar shapes and similar processes but they could vary so much in scale!.)Www@QuestionHome@Com

Think about symmetrical object in mature!. Crystal points, spider webs, ice crystals!. Just a few examples of things that have structures in which fractal math can be used to plot or even alter their structure!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
