Question: As God, would you give commandments to your creations, or let them find their own way!?
Would you be a "hands-on" type of God or pursue a "hands-off" policy toward your created beings!? In the God business, which course would be best!? Www@QuestionHome@Com

For starters, I believe God is existence rather than existence's creator, or a being inside existence that is also the creator of something or other!. If you want to give it a name, it's basically pantheism!.

So, if I was God the Creator of Earth (at least), would I be interventionist or not!? Well when you think about it, seeing as God is perfect, whatever I create would work just as I wanted it to work!. Therefore I wouldn't need to change anything after I had already made it, or else I would have just made it differently to begin with!. So I would not give out rules (because that would be interventionist), but if I wanted certain rules to be adhered to I would give my 'creations' the capacity to figure it out for themselves!.

When you think about it, this is how the universe works!. The many laws of physics weren't inscribed on a stone tablet for all to see, but this doesn't mean they weren't there!. I have a hunch that things have always been the same, and that God's audible voice was never heard without the influence of some sort of illicit substance!. The Bible is the work of man, just as the Theory of Relativity is!. The only way we can acquire knowledge of ourselves and the world around us is by our own capacities for careful observation and logic!. When we exhaust these tools we are left with estimations based on faith in our own ability!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Pretty off-topic here, but what's the harm!? Tough to say!.!.!. 'God' is ALL to those who truly believe in 'Him,' and 'He' can't be encapsulated/limited by our simple concepts and attempts to place a 'human handle' on The Almighty!. Our understanding of 'Him' is based on our desire or 'perceived need' to believe that we are 'His' children!. It's not only quite possible, but entirely likely that we aren't 'His' creation!. What do you suppose the chances are that we are the experiment/creation of some other ancient super-intelligent race, and this whole 'God' schpiel is just a subconsciously/genetically planted ruse to ensure some semblance of order!?

Nahhh!.!.!.!. Of course, that's just a bunch of B!.S!., right!?

I should try to answer the question!. If I created a living sentient race of critters, I would be highly inclined to leave them be without any further interference from yours truly!. Of course, keeping a 3rd or 4th eye on them just for observational purposes, never letting them know of my existence!. Sounds kinda lonely for those little guys, but imagine all they could accomplish without my interference!.!.!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

That's a really good question!.

Firstly, I wouldn't create a world with so much misery in it!. But if for some strange reason I did create it, I'd let them find their own way, because even if I told them the message would be understood differently over time!. But being omniscient, the whole exercise wouldn't even make sense, because tomorrow, yeterday and today would all be happening at the same time!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

It depends how I'm feeling that week!. I'm sure I'd start out being excited and motivated, but after awhile I'd be all, "screw this, I'm gonna make sandwich!"Www@QuestionHome@Com

I would abdicate the job before anything happened!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I wouldn't create beings!. As god I would have no need of such things!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
