Question: Reality: objective or subjective!?
Just want some opinions (sic)!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker:
Objective in itself, but since we are capable of feeling and developing opinions, it is going to be a mixture of both reality & illusion, which means it is subjective at least for us!.

Reality itself is completely independent from our perception!.!.!.As long as you dont include quantum reality!. Primacy of consciousness is a fallacy!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Any assumption of subjectivity rests on:

"I am a subjective perceiver; therefore, reality itself must be subjective!."

Besides the fact that it's a non-sequitor, the very act of following conditionals is to hold conditionals as objective tools of measurement: i!.e!., the assumption of subjectivity presupposes the objectivity of reality!.

No way around it: reality is objective!. A is A, things are what they are, and no amount of trying to ignore the facts will change them!. When we have change how we understand something, it isn't that the object in question changed; we merely gained a better understanding of it (objectivity of reality does not imply human omniscience)!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

reality is completely dependent upon perception!. actually perception is reality!. there is the "normal" reality that most people agree upon!. then there is an individual reality!. some people's individual reality, or at least part of it, falls outside of the norm!. your individual reality is determined by your particular life experiences!. therefore every persons reality is slightly different than that of everybody else!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Reality is objective because it does not depend on one's own mind to exist!. However, reality through our perception is subjective because we are the species of thought processing, i!.e!. feelings are inevitable!.!.!.

Hence, no reality that is told by a human being would be objective because it has been scanned through one's own observing lens!.

REALITY:
The quality or state of being real; a real event, entity, or state of affairs; the totality of real things and events; something that is neither derivative nor dependent but exists necessarily; in actual fact!.

OBJECTIVE:
Expressing or dealing with facts or conditions as perceived without distortion by personal feelings, prejudices, or interpretations; limited to choices of fixed alternatives and reducing subjective factors to a minimum!.

SUBJECTIVE:
Characteristic of or belonging to reality as perceived rather than as independent of mind; phenomenal; relating to or being experience or knowledge as conditioned by personal mental characteristics or states!.

Note to readers: we all have a choice!. I guess it's up to each of us which is true for us!. For me personally, it would be subjective!. Objectivity is too rigid for my world!. I am prone to giving of the heart, just as God allowed us with "free will"!. His way is so cool!. No matter what we get ourselves tangled up in and bumble through, He makes sure there's a way out!. That's true love!.!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Is reality ideal existence!? It is somewhere somehow that we manage to perceive reality only merely, spontaneously through our conceptual realisations first and then through the actualisations of our concepts!. I for instance find flowers beautiful, but this is not flowers that alone are beautiful, but also some concept of ideal beauty within!. My reality of the beauty of a flower therefore is first conceptual, as ideal beauty, and then actual, as my experiencing a flower, a partial actualisation realisation of the whole concept!.

If ideal reality is somewhere fixed as truth then the reality in human experience is constantly in a state of making, in a state of flux, never fixed or determined as a concept or actuality!. However fully unknowable, ideals remain, as for instance truth remains truth forever, where truth of an experience might change!. The same is the fact with concepts of love, beauty and justice, for instance!. The reality of human life, and the world at large as in our experience is constantly changing, and so does our sense of reality!. We struggle to catch up with what is really going on, for instance, to know what is reality, and what is merely a fantasy!.

This can never be fully determined as what reality really is however hard we may try!. But the time we get to know something its changes yet again!. We in this sense chase our whatever the reality might be leading up to some unknown ideal in the objective!. We get closest to reality through our awareness, and when we get to know the collective mind!. The universality of our awareness as through methods of science has enabled us to build a fairly regular picture of our physical world, a mosaic of facts, the certain knowledge!. But here too we are never fully realistic, as our understanding of reality remains subjective to the grand subjective of our collective mind!.

There therefore is nothing in our knowledge that is purely objective!. We see all things through a medium of ourselves, as medium that can never be perfect so as to allow us to see things the way they really might be, everywhere, but merely as the best possible picture in our mind!. Our knowledge of reality is always humanly subjective!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Reality is Truth and vice versa and in order for us to see things the way they truthfully are we need to be objective!. Therefore, we cannot see things with our preconceived notions and personal feelings and thus should be put aside!. Now a days with the kind of characters out their its rare to meet any one whose reality isn't affected by their own perception /observations!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Since everyone has a different definition of reality it is most certainly subjective!. But reality in and of itself is not entirely discovered or understood by humanity so we have a long way to go before we can give a logical and objective account on reality!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I would say that we can never tell which it is!.
We see it subjectively and our observation alters what we see!.
If we look for X, that is what we will see in reality!. If we seek Y, we will see that!. It cannot be defined or measured in this continuum!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

The two terms define each other, therefore the question is meaningless!. By comparing our subjective reality with that of another, we hypothesize an objective reality!. The only alternative is solipsism!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I think reality can be pretty subjective because my perception of reality may differ to that of another!. My morals and ethics may also be subject to one's perception and outlook on life!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

affected by observation as people see things diffrently !.!.ie 1 person sees a film and thinks it total crap another thinks its the best film ever!.!.!.and reality is independent untill we make what we will of it !.!.the mind is a strange thing Www@QuestionHome@Com

the answer differs from person to person along with his/her experiences!.
for me reality is pretty subjective!.
because i like looking beyond facts!.
going deeper into the so called "reality"!.

I think reality is objective since it exists when we are not consciously aware of it (such as when we are sleeping)!. Even if there was no one there to witness reality it would continue to exist!. Www@QuestionHome@Com
