Question: Do we see around us only that what we have inside us!?
In its most obvious meaning:

Those who suffer see only sufferings around them!.
Those who are cruel believe the world is cruel!.
Only those who are worried about how sinful they are see the sin around them!.
If you call someone ingnorant, arrogant, stupid or something, you yourself most likely are such in that same your terms!.

And so on!.

So, what do you think about it!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

This is truly one one of the most interesting aspects of consciousness, it is completely subjective!. To be aware of anything in the material world one must first have a mental note or picture internally!. One could think of it, as the consciousness as being a chalk board inside the mind, anything drawn or written on that chalkboard can be seen in the outside world!.

The Mind has a tendency to filter out and ignore anything that it does not have an understanding of!.

An Example, in stroke patients where one side of the brain has been damaged, some suffer a condition known as neglect!. When these people are asked to copy a picture of a simple flower or some shape, they will only draw the right or left side of the picture they are shown, depending respectively which side of the brain has been damaged!. They will shave only one side of their face, or only put clothes on one side of their body!. In any of these situations, most of the patients with neglect when asked why they only dress one side of their body or only draw one half of a picture, respond with anger and insist that their is nothing missing from their pictures!. They respond as though the clinicians testing them are crazy!.

To examine the actions of people under the influence of drugs and alcohol yields many similar results, Their consciousness is compromised, and they respond with anger when it is pointed out because they are simply unable to observe what they cannot because of the limitation placed on the brain!.

It has been said that the lack of feeling is more tollerable to nature than the feeling of lack!.

By studying compromised brains it gives us insight to the workings of healthy brains, regardless of the reason, if we do not possess internal knowledge of a thing, it is impossible to see it right in front of you in the material world!.

Few people realize how limited and controlled their lives are because they do not have an open mind to the possibility that others may see and know things they do not!. the entire experience of life is taken in the mind, and regardless of how we intend, or what we desire, all observations are subjective, and therefore somewhat limited!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
