Perhaps the secret is that failure does not exist!

As Thomas Alva Edison is quoted as saying, "I have not failed! I have successfully found 1200 things that do not work!"

Any experience that allows one to learn can not be considered a failure but, rather a great success!.

Many fail because it is safe!. Nothing will change nor will any ever expect anything from them!. The fear of success is powerful!. Personally, I remember at one point myself thinking, "If I succeed at this then others will expect it from me all the time!. I can never not be this again!" Lazy does play into the mix also!. "It's just not worth the effort" or "It's just too much trouble" can be deadly words, almost as deadly as "That's just the way I am"!.

Learn from it!. Always make new mistakes!. When you fail because of your own shortcomings, admit it and accept it so that you can improve!. Improve your understanding of the point of diminishing returns when deciding which shortcoming to improve next!.
