If a man wishes to fly, no matter how hard he tries he will always be incapable of sprouting wings and flying!. Talking in circles with flowery words and empty reasonings gets a person NOWHERE!. There are many such people in this category!.

I had a professor along the way that stated that any being that believed that anything was any color, then it was true!. As far as that person was concerned, if they believed that the sky was green then for them it was true!. While anybody else could find truth in it being any color that they believed the sky to be!.

This makes sense to me but seeing how greatly that "society" affects everybody's lives, I tend toward believing yes to your first statement!. Society as a whole would have to believe that the sky was green in order for it to become so!. I believe that the so-calledabnormal people may try to make it red out of spite BUT in general, it would be believed to be green!.

Fun question, btw!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Please, what is "Beign"!?

A conscious being would not believe, a conscious being would know that the reality of being is "being", without judgment or subjective values and labels being imposed on that which is!.

The sky is simply that which it is and nothing more or less as the same is true with all that exist, including the one who presented this post!.

The way might be understood as that path that leads to an end of desires and attachment by living in a correct manner so as to achieve the same!. It is neither too hard nor too easy!. It is the middle path!.

All know the path however only a few choose to walk it!.

Be well!.

So sorry Talya, such is the teaching of the Buddha who was before Yeshua bar Yeseph and who some think Yeshua borrowed teachings from (but there is no documented, reliable and verifiable historical evidence to suggest that such is the case!.)

One might also ask how your anger, hostility and aggresive attitudes helps to make you a better or more beneficial person and how the same serves others!?

Please, breathe, calm down and simply be!.

Both green and red are just words!.!.!.as is sky!. We assign arbitrary meanings to be able to navigate our world, and most agree to accept a common "meaning," though every individual carries a nuanced understanding of what a word means out of their personal experiences!.

Certainly when i hear the word green, the shade is unique to me, while it is different to someone else!. And to a third person, it may evoke feelings of repulsion!. Or consider one who is even color blind!.!.!.this throws a fourth possibility into the mix!. In this way, the thing described "becomes" something entirely different to different people!.

So!.!.!.how reliable is our written and verbal communication, after all!? Do we really communicate accurately and skillfully with one another!? Or do we only "think" we communicate what we have perceived!?

Belief and description are limited methods of purveying what it is we seek to share!. Beliefs are second-hand and descriptions do not contain the thing described, so that they, too, become second-hand!.

All that is left is the "experience" of a thing itself!.!.!.then it is whole and complete, without fragmentation (when it is pulled into pieces in an attempt to serve up the experience to others)!. Yet human beings have a compulsion to communicate and connect using verbal and written means!. The heart, however, knows the fullness of another's experience, without the awkwardness of language!. This is true communication!.

Who the hell have you been talking to atda!? I think you are an angry person who likes to stir things up!. I like that!.
If humans and bees shared a common language we would have the same name for different colors, wouldn't we (seeing as the actual color only manifests in our own brains - or what passes for a brain)!. One aspect of your question comes down to what is belief and what is its actual worth of belief!. That guy believes in God, the other guy believes in the Loch Ness monster, and I believe Obama would make a good president for America!. We may all be right or all wrong!. But we then in our respective ways proceed accumulate 'evidence' in support of our respective beliefs!. That is what belief is!. More or less worthless in the grand scheme of things!. Nor need it bear any relation to fact or logic!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Color is determined by wavelength of light!.

If a color is red, everyone will perceive it as red!.

What you are doing is just playing around with labels!.

What is a Beign!?

ps!. how do expect people to answer your questions if you can't even spell!? Maybe you should choose a simpler category than Philosophy!. I learned how to spell efficiently by the time I was in Grade 3!. You also have the spell check!. You should use it!.

ps!. note to KissHoma: you forgot to put who wrote that!. His name is Jesus!. If it belongs to Him, acknowledge Him!. Just as you acknowledge your own words!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

They'd have to hold a conference meeting to deside whether it was red or green!. After hours of liberation the name would succesfully change from blue to green i mean red to blue no wait blue to red!. Well back to the drawing board!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

The only absolute answer to this is YES!. Belief can change anything!. Collective belief (as in every conscious being) EVERYTHING!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

In the sky, there is no distinction of east and west; people create distinctions out of their own minds and then believe them to be true!.
