Actually we are apes but this is irrelevant (we are closer related to chimpanzees than gorillas, orangutans, or gibbons are!. We are firmly in the middle of the 'ape' family tree)!. Race is a cultural constuct with no genetic basis!. It is used to differentiate between your group and others!. Eg the Aryan race!. Species is altogether differentWww@QuestionHome@Com
