How do people keep hope alive?

Question: How do people keep hope alive!?

I've been thinking deeply about this question lately!.
I want more than just corny simple answers like "never give up" or " don't stop believing!."
I want a deep, philosophical answer if possible!.

I can't keep hope alive!. it's just a saying and has no relevance in my life!. most people say it without even thinking about it!. There seems to be no hope for my life!.
Never give up or don't stop believing are good things to say!. Just terms, not that anything will ever come of them!. It's basically the lottery ticket of saying something!. Www@QuestionHome@Com
