It's imperative for any social species like ours, where the individuals depend on the society for survival!. Individual motivations have to include the interests of other individuals, in specific ways, for the society and therefore the individuals to thrive!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

its all explained through evolution, mental evolution!.!.!.!.you heard of natural selection, right!? apply the adaptions an organism can experience to our brains; our brains are muscles and are just as capable of growing as some animals change to survive in their environment!.!.!.humans evolved mentally, and mental growth is a complex one that revolves around consciousness, which is the process of observation and the means of comprehending what we see!.!.!.morality is a trait of that mental growth!.!.!.in order for us to survive our actions and thoughts had to have order to survive: natural selection!.!.!.evolution chose a mental path of subjectivity to decide the best outcome for our survival, if we were without morals mankind would have no reason to be reasonable, without reason order is not present and survival would be impossible, thus we have morality in order to survive; but we have other means of explaining it!. religion for exampleWww@QuestionHome@Com

We are moral because of the belief systems that our parents, teachers, churches, gov't had, they just passed it down to us, to help create our belief system, They 'taught' us what is good and bad right and wrong!. Our conscience also makes us moralWww@QuestionHome@Com
