Question: Does anyone agree with this statement!?
I would rather be a good man that burns in hell than a terrible person who goes to heaven!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Well that depends on whose judgement you base your life and its principles on!. If you want to be a good man and burn in hell, that means you value your own judgement over that of God ( obviously you believe in one as you believe in a heaven and hell)!. You would rather be at ease with your own conscience than be "good" in the book of God!. The second part of your statement is self explanatory if you read the first part of mine!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

The notion of an eternity in hell for a single, very short lifespan of evil is ridiculously unjust!. Of course no one would choose to live in a way that would lead to eternal suffering!. I would seriously doubt the honesty of any response to the contrary!.

I don't think that heaven and hell exist in a literal sense!. Rather, heaven and hell are metaphors for states of mind!. Our state of mind affects and is affected by our actions!. Doing good actions preserves a 'heavenly' or tranquil state of mind, and bad actions cause the reverse!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Nope!. Its very simple!. 'I would rather be a terrible person who goes to heaven, than a good person who goes to hell'!. There is no one that agrees with the statement!. If anyone ever says it, it's pure rhetoric!. Don't have to believe in heaven and hell to understand this point!. It's just against what a sane human being desires!.

well only God can judge you and as a christian he judges you by what you do, try to do, or think of doing so if you try to do the right thing you might be a good man not going to hell but necessarily going to heavenWww@QuestionHome@Com

Since Hell does not exist, the statement is mootWww@QuestionHome@Com
