Question: Psychology or Philosophy!.!.!.!?
Which one intrigues you more, or are you into both of them equally!? Why!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker:
I'm more intrigued by psychology rather than philosophy!.!.in my opinion philosophy is just meaningless questioning about everything, like why do we exist, and there are no real answers, just more questions!. Psychology on the other hand gives you insight into human behavior, it gives you info about people, their motives, drive, personalities and therefore gives you power to manipulate them!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Psychology reduces the human condition to its base animal response to the environment!. Behaviors are dictated by a balance or imbalance of hormones and other glandular secretions internally, and environmental impacts to ones person externally!.

Philosophy deals with the spiritual side of humanity and ethics, endorsing the mind set that humanity possess a "higher than animal" side that allows one to choose between right and wrong regardless of influences of the natural environment!.

Both have a valid place in influencing the human condition!.

i agree partly with the answerer who said that both are too overanalyzing,
you generally think about eihter of these things only when something is going wrong in your life or you feel like there is some problem, we tend to fall back on these, well!.!.!.!.ideas!.!.!.i mean, we try to analyze whats going wrong in our life bu using these disciplines,
philosophy is good and helpful, if a person has a clear sense of how much to rely on it, you can't keep thinking in its terms all day, your thoughts may be philosophical, but you have to take some practical action to make things work,
psychology is something, which to me brings images of mentally disturbed people, i do not mean that only MAD people go to a psychologist, event those with subtle mental disorders can seek help, but nevertheless, i always think like it is a state of therapy, that the person who needs to rely on it, is somehow a patient, and therefore, not wellWww@QuestionHome@Com

Psychology is more tied to scientific research, philosophy is more innate knowledge!. Both are important but putting them together makes knowledge more whole!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Philosophy!. Psychology is too easily explained by science!. I find philosophy is a lot more open to interpretation, which I happen to like more!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Psychology plays with the personality, the false self; philosophy brings us closer to the soul!. Personality is ephemeral; soul eternal!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
