Ok, say if a 180 IQ person figured out (& solved) the reason why things happen like Tso Seung-Hui (Virginia Tech tragedy)!.
The reason is simple harmonic motion!. When imbalance occurs, a restoring force brings back to equilibrium!.
Tso was feeling a force to commit the massacre, because society seemingly gave him a hard time & ostracized him!. His actions were in the direction of the equilibrium!.
This is my refutation of karma! This is the 3rd most signficant insight i've had this year, and will formalize a theory later!.
It even applies to the positive side, such as if you do something really nice for a person, they will feel a restoring force and will be tempted to do a philanthropic deed!
I am a scientist & I believe in evolution and I think karma is the biggest B!.S!. ever!!!!! However, I just realized I discovered the fundamental forces which drive society (which to naive observers, they look and see it as "karma" but its really more complicated than that)!.

Equilibrum is sign of perfection and perfection does not suffer single form!. Restoring forces tend to balance our limited, thus imperfect existence and always making it perfect in a moment of equilibrum being occur!. Even thou human holding a belief of its own imperfection and mentioned equilibrum will be disrupt over and over again in order to be restored !.It is a motion of human life and a motion had been created by its victims , humans!. Key word is BELIEF!.!.Motion directed downward, tend to fix ever going imbalance based on incomplete knowledge human holding and developing!.!.!.Beliefs based on knowledge and if knowledge is incomplete, belief will not be accurate tool of creation May be that is why we became mortal!? It had been said that while losing innocence we obtained mortality!.!.Well , once bited forbidden fruit which grown on a TREE OF KNOWLEDGE we lost innocence !. Anything else is a consequencess!.!.!.!.So do not be in hurry to know before you know a price of being know!. Everything "you know" out of incomplete will be touched by restoring forses and completed by following equilibrum and becomes existential for you !. We are often wondering of surreality of existence and will wonder unless the root of creation will be reached and we will learn to create something more sufficient than karma!.

I make 180 look stupid!. You do seem like you are on to something, but I want to see a huge double blind study or several to prove it first!. It doesn't take a genius to figure out life was crap for the shooters in various incidents around the world!. (Virginia Tech, Columbine, etc!.!.!.) I mean come on!. Normal people don't snap and start shooting people!. (Generally!.) The positive side sounds like it may be tough to prove; simply because people are greedy selfish bastards!.
