Best Answer - Chosen by Asker:
Yes!. Wisdom can be transmitted by words!.

Wisdom is a unique form of "experienced intelligence" that "enlightens" the one who "gets it"!.

Words can be used to transmit wisdom!. It is within special groups of words that "wisdom" is hidden, contained, and revealed!.

For example:

"Every present action is the future I create!." - A!.Qurius Muse

Hidden within this quote is wisdom!.

The most well known Books of Wisdom are the books of Proverbs and Ecclesiastes!. Reading these books will not only increase your knowledge, they will make you more wise and organize your thinking to assess your life and situations with intelligence, and make "wise" decisions that will lead you the right way!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

King Solomon had a magic ring!. When he was sad, he would take out the ring, and no matter how bad he was feeling the ring would make him laugh!. But on the best day of his life, he could take out the ring, and it would make him cry!.

Inside the ring was an inscription!. It read: "This too shall pass!."

When I tell the story of Solomon's Ring, the words say "This too shall pass" but the message is more brought home by the story, because people identify with feeling sad and feeling happy!. So the wisdom imparted from the story is "this applies to you too!." which isn't IN the words, but is transmitted BY the words!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Some words you will understand, and they will give you insight and pave the way for many great thoughts!. The words can come from many things such as certain works of literature, philosophy, history, yahoo answers etc!. Then other words will fly right over your head!. So you do need a certain degree of wisdom and/or experience in order to receive wisdom, but it is possible to gain it from words we read or hear!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

not really!.
1) we would have to know what wisdom/ the wise thing is!.
2) the person retrieving the information would have to actually understand it and apply it!. Www@QuestionHome@Com
