Is their own fault or the fault of the generation that raised them!? I think it is unfair for parents to say their teens are immoral beause really they are critising their own parenting skills!. What do you think!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

Well, actually, that depends on the environment and the people around them!. Growth can be affected by two factors; nature and nurture!. SO you really can't blame us teens but I have to say that sometimes, we aren't using our brains anymore and that's what make us do immoral things!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Teenagers, like everyone else, have choices!. Regardless of their upbringing, they choose to be what / who and how they are!.

Parents do have something to do with it, but once a person is 18, all bets are off, the person is responsible for themselves and what and how they choose to be!. just because mommy or daddy did or said I "should" be or do this or that, doesn't make it the "law"!.

People (adults - and teenagers are young adults) are responsible for themselves and their choices!. They can choose to blame family, friends, gangs, whatever for what they do and how they act, but, in the end, it comes down to one person, themselves!. Period!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

i think it is mostly the parents fault for what they expose their children to so young!. i'm 15 and while i have my issues it appals me to see 8 year olds acting and dressing like teenagers! also the way teens act is on their shoulders, too becuase you can always control your actions and all anyone my age seems to care about is what everyone else will think!. i know i dont have the best morals but at least i recognize them as my own fault instead of blaming other people for most of them!. sexuality is also a matter of maturity and understanding!. not bad parenting!. most kids havent experienced enough to come out of the "shallow", material phase of life!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Thats just the thing, we have not morality, we're just now being able to stand on our own to feet and speak for ourselves, the last thing we'd want is for some rules to set us back from that!. I don't think it's necessarily parents faults, teens will always rebel, it's media that shapes society (as cliche as that sounds) and makes us dot he things we do!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

I don't think it has to do with their parents at all!.
Teens today live in a society based on consumerism; they're bombarded with mixed messages from mass media, friends, and their family!. Today most teens follow cliches, or as I like to call them "facades"!. They follow them because sociologically, that's what's "cool"!.

I think parents are trying to help!. What I'm worried about is the next generation!.

p!.s!. Most kids don't really have a true grasp of what "morality" is!. Thank god for public education and television, right!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

Parents are like there children and vise versa!. My parents raised me with love!. My parents raised me to be good and punish if I did something wrong!.
It may sound harsh but it's the truth, "It is to late to punish a child when they die", it is a saying my mom will use because kids die all the time!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

They are mostly influenced by the world around them, not their parents!. Paying attention to what the older kids they see who decide what's cool is the #1 source!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I would say that it depends some times it is because of the parents and some times it is because of the kidWww@QuestionHome@Com
