Question: If a product of the universe could be intelligent, can not the universal energy too one!?
Do you think the universe is as good as a lifeless machine that works mechanically or an apparently lifeless but intelligent energy, capable of creating sustaining and transforming life forms of great endowments!.!.!?

We know that seemingly static and inactive materials are all dynamic in fact, with their atoms pulsating with electrons moving endlessly with great energy and speeds!? As for the life forms their endowments are marvellous - from the deep sea animals to the polar ones to the humans!.!.!

Try to approach with open minds and not prejudiced by probable religious overtones!.!.

If the superior creature of the cosmos could be intelligent, can not the cosmos also basically superior to the created entities!.!.!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

Happy Hiram, you dont seem to like the import of the question that resembles spiritual intent to interpret the cosmos!.!. but how can you pull him down like this!? He is asking about the quality or an abstract attribute like intelligence and not about physical features that make the entities more unique!.!. Dante was giving a nice clarification which perhaps would suit your perception of the subject than those trying a metaphysical view!.!. ok

I read about a rare perception of the phenomenon relating to the cosmos before the creation of astral bodies - a frontier theory shared by a section of nuclear physicists - about what would have preceded the energy that ruled prior to solidification (creation of mass)!. A study is said to have shown that "cosciousness" influenced certain functions (generation of random numbers by a machine being influenced by conscious and focussed suggestions to vary the pattern) and so consciousness could have relation with the play of energy!.!. I do not remember the details to elaborate more!.!. Einstein also is said to have spoken of a "cosmic mind" much before the idea had emanated in the scientists circle!.

But it is true that Yogis say that there is connection between energy (breath) and thoughts (a function of conscious being) and so teach breathing techs to control the mind (by limiting and stopping the thought process for sometime)!.!.

So may be, when the frontier researches in Physics advance we may have an idea about the veracity of the Yogic beliefs and practices as well and a clear reply to this question!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

no as rightly observed by you we are and each entity of the universe is pulsating and vibrating and a power house of energy so the universe cant be any thing different!.!.!.!!.!., so the universe is as life like as us!.!. and in no way can be life less!.!.!. , sure the cosmos is superior, and intelligent and sure superior to created entities, however the fact remains that we have a the power of expression by which we can express and exhibit our intelligence whilst the universe does not need to show exihibit its intelligence and does so subtly without making any noise or claim out of it!.!.!! If we consider Humans as intelligent and we are a microcosm part of the Universe!.I am of the opinion that there has to be some Higher Intelligence that has allowed us to evolve in intelligence!.
I know I am being very simplistic and I am unable to give a coherent scientific reply to this very complex question that has baffled us since centuries!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

And what, then, would be the intelligent being that created the intelligent universe!? Your attempt at pantheism is pretty obvious, but leads you just as naturally to the true God!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

If a human can grow luscious blonde hair and beautiful round boobs, don't you think the universe can!?

Doesn't your premise sound a bit silly when you think about it!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

Interesting thought, I think it makes sense!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I can't quite follow what you're saying!. Are you trying to say that since the world is so complex, there must be something more complex that created it!? Actually, after reading it again, what I think you are trying to put forth is that the idea that maybe the cosmos are run by some sort of intelligent "energy"!. Is it possible!? Sure it's possible!. The issue is, I don't see any reason to believe it!. Your point about the seemingly static materials being dynamic, while it is a a true fact, does not lead to the conclusion that there is an intelligent force guiding the cosmos!. I could look at that and say, the reason they are constantly moving is because there is a massive force being exerted upon the atoms (the nuclear strong force, and other forces)!. When powerful forces are exerted on a point, that point vibrates at a rate that is related to the difference between all the forces acting!.

Yes, it is possible that there is an intelligent energy out there!. Just because there is a possibility though, does not make it a good guess!. I could say that it's possible that I'd win the lottery tomorrow, but I probably won't, there's just no evidence there!.

I do hate to be naysayer though!. If this is what you believe, then believe it!. One argument that you might find interesting is this: one of the conventional scientific laws is the law of conservation of energy, which states that energy cannot be created or destroyed!. One could claim that that there is a difference between a living body and a dead body, one that could only really be explained with some sort of energy (an energy that we don't know exactly about)!. Maybe it's the soul, maybe it's chi, maybe it's just random heat!. The issue is, when you die, the energy that is effectively your life, is NOT destroyed, it is transferred, it is moved and changed!. This is an interesting argument for the afterlife, or reincarnation, since your life energy is not destroyed upon death!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
