Of course it will!.!.!. although there is no "evidence" that it does, it is illogical to think that it doesn't!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

The answer is yes!. Firstly, if you believe in God the answer is obvious!. Secondly, imagine there was a recording device there at the time, and in a sense there is because the tree influences its surroundings!. Anyway, if that recording was never heard, it would imply there had been no sound and therefore that the recording was silent!. However, if someone heard the recording, there would be backwards causation, because hearing it would have caused it to happen!. This is impossible!. Therefore it does make a sound!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Yes, it doesn't make sound!. There is no sound as long as there is no observer!. When a tree falls it make vibrations those vibrations are sound in the ears of the observer!. Sound is a sensation!. So when there is no receiver to this sensation then it's no longer a sensation!. Vibrations take forms ( sound, image, smell, etc!.) depending on the nature of actions and the organs receiving those vibrations!.
Creation doesn't need to be observed to exist!. Existence, Universe and Nature don't cease their movements; movements based on energy and vibrations!. When we receive those vibrations under the forms we receive them, it doesn't mean that they are this way (in nature and universe ) just because we receive them that way through our senses!.

Nice questionWww@QuestionHome@Com

It doesn't make a sound!. However, it creates air vibrations!.

edit: to the guy below me!. you are actually confusing things!. there is no doubt that "physical sound" takes place when the tree falls!. by physical sound i mean vibrations through the air molecules in the form of a wave!. this is simple physics!. no one denies this!.

this physical vibration is what a tape recorder would pick up!. just impressions left by the electromagnetic flux on the oxide on the tape in the tape recorder!. just like all the tree does is wiggle air molecules, the tape recorder just affects the oxide on the tape in a certain pattern so it "remembers" it!. it only translates into sound when it is played back in range of someone who can hear, and the air waves that the tape recorder makes, puts pressure on the ear drums and then the auditory impression of sound is heard!. however, just hearing it wouldn't mean that it somehow changes the past!. don't be absurd!. there is mental sound and physical sound!. they are NOT the same!. i don't even like to say physical sound, i call them sound WAVES, and mental sound, i just call sound!.

when u posit a tape recorder, maybe at first it seems like the obvious thing to do, but it does NOTHING for the thought experiment!. the tape recorder is just like another tree falling!. obviously if you're there in front of it, there will be sound!. the question is, if no one is around to hear the tape recorder, does it make a sound!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Ask the little beaver if he heard anything before getting squashed by the tree!. AHIHIHIHI!.

Yes, scientifically it Does make a sound whether or not there are people who hear it!.

I mean c'mon, if a person fell flat on his face with a loud bang and the only other person in the room just so happened to be deaf does that mean that there wasn't a loud bang!? tell that to the floor!. LOLZ!.

If you define 'sound' as vibration, yes!.
If you define sound as the experience of sensing that vibration, no!.
I would ask you: 'Do the other trees experience schadenfreude!?'Www@QuestionHome@Com

yes; it will make vibrations some of which are within the range audible to humans!. So, it does make a "sound" though there may be nobody to "hear" it!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

everyone has there on opinion on this question!. Mine is yes because when the tree hits the ground it will make vibrations and people are going to be able to feel the virbrations!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

You scene is impossible!. God is everywhere!. He will hear it!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Well, if the tree had fallen earlier and you saw it on the ground would you assume it made a sound when it fell!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

the sound vibrations, will eventually reach humans even if its within miles of the fall!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
