Question: Is this the way to look at it!?
A fellow, not born in the UK, once said to me "If you miss the No!. 467 bus and catch the next No 467, when you reach your destination you will be confronted only with the same scene, ten minutes later!. What you do with those ten minutes before is of the utmost importance!. Do not wait idly by!. Use the time!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Life is not a Number 467 bus!.
There WON'T be another one along in ten minutes!.

What I fail to understand, however, is what one can achieve with ten minutes of time when stranded in the middle of nowhere waiting for a hypothetical bus!. The best I have managed is engaging in a whistful melancholy philosophising about the nature of time!.

"Do Not Wait IDly By"!.
"Use the Time"!.

"Echos",of!.!.!.dare i say it!.!.!.!.an acceptance of the classroom teacher;or more like,the "classroom"teaching method!.

So i take it you and many others know the differance;(possibly not so!.!.!.)!.!.!.well,let me just say that one can be inspired,or "inquired",to learn;i mean, when something one decides requires further inquiry, then that individual may decide to "go-it-alone"(gosh!)and do some individual learning and investigation!.
And i'm not even saying that somesuch success will always be forthcoming here!.But its the different method that counts-harsh,incisive,risky-the non classroom method has just as much "going fer it"as the other way!.
Any non-philosopher or non-intellectual,could say as a retort/answer to that 467 bus, that if a bomb was planted and went off in the meantime;certainly,a very different destination scene would confront the later bus!.
In fact-taking a "leaf out of"the brilliant scholarly work done by the infamous karl Popper-it could be said that after (just)10 minutes,an INFINITE collection of things could have happened "with-in the same scene"!.
Eg the people would not be in the "same place'(juxtaposed);it may have started to rain;the hordes from a stadium may be walking by!.
And i'm sure ur/our speach-maker-the person who boldly says,!.!.!.Those ten minutes!.!.(are of)!.!.!.THE UTMOST IMPORTANCE"!-is really only trying to be-a-part of that "importance"!.

i would "stick with" the majority of people (not born in the u!.k!.!),and say that, logically and reasonably,we do and we can say that in a lot of places and in a lot of ways, things are NOT so"of the Utmost Importance",either!.

Personally,as ive intimated(and said),i think its a wrong-type-of-message;especially to new thinkers and thus new "starters"!.Students,if you will!.
And i'll go all the way, here and now,and say that few-if-any of the people reading this, have the ability or the self-importance,to use every 10 minute time slot,to their and their alone, advantage!.
(If just, as the scholar above pointed out years ago,we all make mistakes)!.

Basically, if your 10 minutes late for your appointment then maybe waiting for the next bus will not be a good option, how about rescheduling the appointment!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

I wouldn't do anything that I wouldn't do any other 10 minutes of my life!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
