Hmm!.!. I don't know if those were examples of character traits in general, or those Ayn advocated, but I wouldn't count kindness or self-control as one of them!.

Let's see!.!.!. honesty!. being "selfish"!. ambitious!. true to yourself!. The last is probably the most important!. I've only read the fountainhead, but she'd show her moral code through making all the good characters "good", with all the traits she liked, and all the bad characters "bad"!. She also had monologues of sorts in her books, the trial scene where Howard defends himself is famous!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Are you joking!? I don't think Ayn Rand had a good character trait in her body! She preached individualism and nothing else!
The character of Dominique Francon in The Fountainhead embodied her personal view of the perfect human being - detached and utterly selfish, just like the author!.

She was the closest thing to Nazism you could find!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Your question presupposes a universal agreement on what a 'good' character trait would be!. I doubt that you and Ayn Rand would be in agreement on what those should be!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
