Do you agree that God is everywhere?

Question: Do you agree that God is everywhere!?

If yes, why do you people search for Him in sacred places (temples, mosques, churches etc!.) !?

I believe that some people need a certainn place!.!. a place they got used too!.!. a place that is known in their culture as a "holy" place!.!. and also because the energies in such places are really filled with good intentions and the prayers of all of the other people that visited there in the past!.!.

As for myself- I do not like to go regularly to those place!.!. and even though I'm a jewish person, I also like to visit churches when I have a chance too, for I see God everywhere indeed and especialy in me and other people!.!. (and nature most of them all!)

Some people need a way!.!.especialy other people's way!.!. but in my opinion- the Best way to god is through our Own Hearts!.!. since we are connected to him more than any outer source!.!. also all of those "great teachers" of the past did the same thing!.!. so why can't we talk to God as well anytime and anywhere!? :-)

Yes, I agree that God is everywhere!. I don't search for Him 'cause I've already found Him, and He has made His abode within me!. I go to church to worship Him with other believers!. I also go to church to pray with other believers!. And to serve Him in any way possible!. I hear what the pastor says about the Bible and it inspires and encourages me!. And while it's true that I don't have to go to church to do all these activities, it is the place where we all choose to gather!. We used to meet in a home, back before we got an empty building big enough to hold us all, so we're glad we've got a building big enough so that we can all be together!. There's nothing sweeter than getting together with your friends and having a good time, and at the same time worship God!. So as Christians, we don't seek God, 'cause we've already "found" Him!. What we're doing is showing Him how much we love Him back, by gathering together to worship & adore Him, learning about Him and serving Him with the gifts & talents He's given us!. Sorta like, why go to a football game when you can watch it on TV!? The experience of being with a whole crowd of people, who are there for the same reason, is something that just doesn't compare to watching it on the tube!. And, while you're there, you can get all the goodies that go with going to the game!. So, in going to church, you partake of all the "goodies" that is there for you to share in!.!.!.the music, prayer, worship, fellowship, and teaching!. While I do all these things at home, it's so much sweeter when done with others who are like minded!. <*)))><Www@QuestionHome@Com

yes,i believe that God is everywhere!!! and as a matter of fact, i do not look for Him in the church!!! i rarely visit church as i have to work in shifts!!! but i prayer to Him silently everyday without fail!!! my day starts with Him and ends with Him as well!!! i thank Him for everything that He has given me and ask Him for many things as well!!! i speak to Him as i very close friend!!! infact, my best friend!!! I'll answer based from my views (which are still forming) along with my belief that religion is on the downfall however spirituality is on the rise!.!.

I, as a person do not believe in a divine being that controls the universe and determines the outcome of every one of our lives!.
When I look around, I just don't see that and so thus my beliefs go accordingly!.!.

But this doesn't mean I don't believe in "God"!. God to me is yourself!. Your "inner heart" if you will!. That little voice that tells what is good and what is bad, that sinking feeling in your stomach when you know you did something wrong, the sudden urge to cry at a family funeral, the skip of your heartbeat when you kiss a loved one, and so much more!. It is what makes us human and determines who we are!.
In my eyes God is another form of the spirit, or ghost!. Like the feeling love!.!. we cannot see it physically, smell, touch, or taste it!.!. but we still know it is there and it swells within us!.

God is what is unique to humans, it is what defines us from the other species of this planet!.

I believe the reason people seek God through temples and mosques is because it is a symbolic location in which they can connect to that!. Be at piece and truly feel a part of God!. Where as walking around in your day-to-day life isn't the same as going somewhere dedicated to God and resting, meditating, praying!.

Now, going along with my view!.!.!. I suppose one could say that God is everywhere!.!.!. though in my eyes there is no He or She other than yourself!.

A secret place is secret to the believer, it works great for those who believes because God is everywhere one cares to seek!.

You might want to check out Pantheism and Taoism, they teach that everything is God, the energy flowing through the Universe is God, and the means by which we exist is God!. People saying they don't think God exists are saying that about the God theism portrays, i!.e!. the old man with white hair sitting on a golden thrown above the clouds!. Yes!. He created us, every bit of thing!. If people don't believe that, then why do people die!? I mean if there's only people in this world, without a god, then how could you lose your own soul when you don't want it to!? Sorry, but don't think so!. If God was, wouldn't you expect him to do more in the world!.
