Question: Aristotle philosophy question PLEASE HELP!!!?

What does aristotle mean by the "function" of a human being!? How do we determine what that function is!? How is this understanding of function related to his account of happiness!?

The word "function" isnt really appropriate for Aristotle's philosophy!. The correct term is telos, which is a greek term roughly translated to goal!.

It is the telos of a man, and i do mean man because aristotle was a sexist and said that women had souls which made them to be ruled y their emotions, to become virtuous or excellent!. In becoming excellent a man will be happy because he will have a healthy pride in himself!. Www@QuestionHome@Com
