Both are false ideas and a misunderstanding of reality!.
'Waiting for' signifies an expectation!.
'Making things' signifies control!.
What are you expecting to happen that you want control over!?
Life is the spontaneous expression of infinite potential!.
What can be controlled and what is the desired experience!?
Pleasure!.
If you want pleasure or pleasurable experiences you must alter your perception of pleasure and pain!.
They must be unified into the true understanding that neither are real!.
What is happening is the experience of unfolding potential translated through your knowledge and paradigm!.
You can neither wait for nor control life as you ARE life!.
The SEEING does not wait for or control sight!. It is sight happening!.
You are happening!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Yes!. I think it's something in the British psyche which for example makes us able to queue in an orderly fashion for ages without complaining!. I know this always amuses foreigners, who seem to think queue jumping is the norm!.

The point is we seem to believe that by being patient life will happen, so why upset the delicate balance by forcing the issue!. It's a bit like our summer; we always wait patiently for it before realising that it's passed us by!.
