Best Answer - Chosen by Asker:
Socrates' Absolute Truths is a brave but naiive concept, that in part got him killed by the Government - as Authorities never like any truths beside their authority and power!.
Plato's Idealistic Absolutes contracted into a smaller shell in their own academic truths without offending the authorities!.
Both are naiive, coz they were too early and too far geographically from the spread of the true Buddhism - which says that there is not such thing as "Absolute", instead - everything is relative - only this can be termed an "Absolute" Truth!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
