Question: Why is Philosophy important in the study of History!?!!?!!?
We watched a play and we were tasked by our professor to do this:
Write a short review of "Isang Panaginip na Fili" emphasizing on the historical/social context presented by the play!. You may present historical data to emphasize significant issus in the play!. Using our discussion on Ethics and the main ethical theories, identify the ethical dilemmas in the play and evaluate the ethical issues involved!. Ultimately, what makes the play philosophical and why is philosophy important in the study of history!.
So that's it, I didn't know what to answer to the last question!. Why is PHILOSOPHY important in the study of HISTORY!.!.!.
I just need some sort of idea so start with!.!.!.

"hIstory" is different from "histireography"!. the latter is the record of "facts' as reported over a period of time; but the former includes an analysis of the causes and consequences of those facts!. this leads to a theoretical framework in which the patter of causes and consequences can be "explained"; i!.e!., a "philosophy"!.

Philosophy is the construction and underlying principles in the formation of knowledge!. It is knowledge and its understanding or lack thereof defining historical milestones!. If reason and love governed the world would assuredly be a peaceful Eden!. Yet it does not and is not!. Philosophy is a tool and measure of processes and rationale applied by the orchestrators and administers of happening in history!. If philosophical guidelines are applied with the disposable data and information to hand consequence is better fathomed and determined!.
The governing class are less than noble, intelligent or reasonable and therefore their actions exhibit the injustice dispensed by such minions with power!. Philosophy applies reasoning and guidelines to the course of history and its motivating factors!.

Well, by knowing the overall philosophy of a society, you can more easily see how they got to be where they are!. Ambrose Biece said " Philosophy is a route of many roads leading from nowhere to nothing"!. Sneak that one into your essay!.
