Question: How do you get your imagination back!?
Hi there,

I have a big problem!. I seem to have lost my imagination!. I don't have any idea where it went, it just went elsewhere!. This is a much bigger problem than I had originally thought!. I cant dream at night, and I cant day-dream (which makes my job take forever)!. I am writing a book, and not having my imagination is stopping my progress!. I also cant ever figure out things to do!. I'm constantly bored and cant even imagine anything better to do!.!.!.

How do I get it back!? Is it my diet!? Not enough exercise!? Steal someones soul!? PLEASE TELL ME!!!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Seems to be due to stress!.!. forget that you have to write a book!. Relax and give time to yourself!. Sit alone near a busy street, watch people doing different things, feel the wind, feel the life getting passed!. Idleness is also necessary in life, why would Newton sit under an apple tree!. If he was very much occupied and locked himself in a room doing weired calculations we might not have known gravity for long!.
Talk with children, listen to their questions, observe their carefree behavior!. Watch the old and see the experience in their eyes!. See the youth feel the energy flowing in their blood!. Be thankful to the stranger, see the smiles on face of people and put it on your lips!. Life is short and feel it just like wind which just flows without being stopped, without being contained!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

It has nothing to do with any part of your body that is not the brain!. You're probably just having a writer's block, it occurs to writers occasionally i suppose!. If you want some inspiration you can go do some travelling in an unfamiliar country!. It usually benifits artistic people a lot when they go on a journey!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

this sounds like a serious problem!. try getting away from all of your distractions, away from everything!. put yourself in an empty, quiet room, and just think!. Let your mind wander not on to topics such as work and bills but onto everything else that seems trapped inside your head!. maybe try putting on some soothing music!. or even better, if you able to, take a nice long walk with nothing else scheduled for the day, and just see where your imagination takes too!. good luck!
