No, but that's not to say the strange twists of the mind that self is pone too means that the self is as solid as a rock!. We are more real than fictional characters but not as solid as things that made up the physical world!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Possibly or they could be as real as the people we know!.
I read This Side of Paradise and fell in love with Amory and I met this boy who reminded me so much of him that I dated him!. I think I read the book because I liked the character so much!. I believe that they're as real as ourselves it could also be part of the reason why we're attracted to the story!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

They are not as real as "we the people" are!. But !. !. !.

I've been reading John D!. MacDonald's novels about Travis McGee since I was in high school (I'm 59 now) and I love Travis just like I would a real man!. He is my idea of a real man!!! He's a big, burly man who lives on a houseboat by the name of The Busted Flush, which Travis won in a poker game!. She is moored at the Bahia Mar Marina in Ft!. Lauderdale!. Travis is taking his retirement out in chunks!. He is a "Recovery Operator" He recovers items that would otherwise be lost to their owners and his fee is 50% of what he recovers!. He only works when the money from his previous job is low!. His best friend id Meyer Meyer, a financial analyst, who lives on a houseboat next to Travis!. The women come and go out of his life on a regular basis!. He drives and old Buick !. !. !.

Anyhow, you get the picture! It's sad that Mr!. MacDonald died a few years ago and I will no longer get to read about Travis' adventures!. I feel like I lost a beloved friend when Mr!. MacDonald died--not him! Travis McGee!!!

All the Travis McGee novels have a color in the title in case you want to read one! I believe there are 35 of them available!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Depends on how they're written, but I don't see why not!. As an actor, I treat every play I read or portray as an auto biography!. The characters were once living people because, who knows!? That exact story you're reading might have happened to one of the trillions of people who've lived on this earth at one time!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

If you are the one who created them, yes - they are a part of you, just the same as if you believed in a particular ideology because you had come to realise it yourself and not with the help of others!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Apparently yes!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
