Question: Does death mean life has no real meaning!?
Best Answer - Chosen by Asker:
No death creates more meaning for the living!. It makes the choices mean more!. It has away of focusing the activities of life more sharply!.

Now if you mean does death rob life of all meaning the answer is still no!. Meaning is found everyday in a thousand different ways!. Just because we pass away doesn't mean life no has meaning!. As you live the meaning of life unfolds to you and after you pass away the meaning of your life will be remembered and known by those still living!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

I've asked myself that question before!.

I think your life has meaning if you actually stay away from being bad or hurting someone else for your own satisfaction!. Many will say that as long as you're happy, everything is great, but what if the one thing that makes you happy is hurting others!? That's not living at all!.

This is very hard to answer because everyone has a different opinion about what life means, but most are NOT doing what they should be doing to begin with!. If there is life after death, your life actually would have meaning but of there is really nothing after this, then no one would really care if they were bad or not because there isn't anyone on the other side assigning them to heaven or hell!.

Just live your life in a way that is positive in every way, help the needy and be grateful for what you have and your life will have meaning!. Forget about after that!. We'll only know the truth when we get there and unless we all can get our departed loved ones to come back and tell us what does happen, there's no point in thinking about it!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Quite the opposite in fact!. Death gives humanity the motivation to get out and do something with what time we are given!. Even if you don't believe in an afterlife of some sort (in which case death is more a transition than a finality), without death our lives would stagnate!. Why do something now when you can do it tomorrow!? Say that often enough when you know you have unlimited time and nothing ever happens!. Death makes room for the new as well, and in some cases purges elements!. Can you imagine how crowded the world would be if nothing ever died!? Can you imagine people of dangerous attitude with the drive to hurt others living forever!?

Let me put it this way: when you have a serious deadline above you, you become stressed and work harder, but sometimes burn out!. When you have none at all, things simply don't get done well if at all!. Death is ambiguous in timing, so it both provides motivation and keeps us from stressing out by not telling us when exactly!.

Death can be terrifying end or a gentle completion, but by no means does it rob life of meaning!. Neither does it give life meaning however, but it helps out a bit I suppose!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Death is what gives life meaning!. If you were able to live forever, nothing in your life would have importance anymore!. Nothing would have significance!. It is in death, our life have meaning!.

Plus if you believe in life after death, (there are a number of religions) then death, no longer means the end, but is only another beginning!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

It seems like that sometimes!. I mean, life can be really hard sometimes and for what!? We struggle so hard and we really don't know if we will even be here tomorrow!. I know that sounds so negative, but it is reality!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
