The one thing we want is not the only thing we need!. I want cookies more than any food!. In fact I would love to only thrive on them!. But the truth is, I need food from all food groups!. King Midas loved Gold more than anything else, but he needed other things to continue living!. We cannot let desire blind us from necessity!. Perhaps we dont know what we want, because if we did we would never over look something we need!. Someone could love shopping, but that same person will always stop by the food court because they need food more!. King Midas didnt actually know what he wanted with his wish because he did not take into account his needs!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

Little good does all the gold in the world do you if you are all alone; King Midas even turned his only daughter into gold, his wife, his entire family was dead and she was all he had left!. I think it was at that point where he asked Dyonisus to take back his "gift!." The lesson was, that while its good to be financially secure, to keep your family fed, clothed, etc, and guarantee their education, in the end it is a fool's game to value gold more than your family!.

My own father, I have a feeling, is consumed by his work!.!.!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
