Technically, "cogito ergo sum" doesn't prove a *continued* existence, but merely the marginal one that is having the thought at that infinitesimal fraction of a second!. So, perhaps you can't prove it as rigorously as you might like, but you could say it's the simplest possible explanation (that a continuing *me* exists) and not lose too much sleep over it!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
