I dont believe in the mayan prediction because the bible says "no man knows the year, nor the month, nor the day nor the the hour of my return!." There is no guarantee of when things will happen!.

Biblical teachings state that no one will know the day when the Son will return (paraphrased horribly, but pretty much the gist)!. On that level, whether you believe in God and Christ then there is no definite time or way to tell!.

Sure, crap could happen that would make one think the end of the world is in 2012, but then again the end of the world already happened for the Mayan's, no!?

Nostradamus predicted the year 2000 as the end of the world, but we're well beyond that now aren't we!?

I believe that at my age of 60 there are only a limited number of mornings left in which I'll be around to see the sun rise, feel it's warmth and take in the awe of the sky above me!. One morning those eternal things will start there cycle and I simply won't be here to enjoy them, that will be the end of my world!. The rest of the things are simply a lot of "baloney" for me!. The world is coming to an end, period!. But not tomorrow, not 2012 and not 2015!. And even if we humans come to an end, the world might just go on, as it has the last 300 billion years!. And start over!?
