Question: What opinions do you hold about this philosophy !?
Years back i had seen a photograph of nest which showed a bird feeding its baby bird by puting food into the mouth of the baby through its beak!. This photograph was on the cover of a book called GIVING!. Eversince i have been trying my best interpretations to arrive at the numerous ways in which the mother bird was giving to its child by feeding it with its beak!. Of one of the final interpretations that i have reached is that 'Even the act of allowing someone to do something for us because it makes that person happy is an act of giving because it gives a happiness to the person through a sense of contribution!. Is it not true Friends !?

yes, we give to give hope hence light up or brighten the person's day!.

my thought of philosophy is that, it requires deep thinking or rather analysis and keen interest in the matter at hand!.

Thanks fro asking dearWww@QuestionHome@Com

Well that's just common sense right there, everyone knows that just giving out of love is truly satisfying and a mother bird feeds her babies like every other animal mother so they don't die, because she wants life to continue instinctively!. We're naturally drawn toward love, it's that simple, because living things need to be loved in order to continue living!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

It has nothing to do with happiness or friendship!. The baby birds can't fly yet so the mother feeds them!. It's a matter of preservation and continuance of the new generation!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

It is a natural urge to feed its offspring until they can fend for themselves!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Yes I guess you are right here!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Some may argue true selfless altruism is rare if not entirely an impossibility!. Indeed it is part instinctiveness driving the mother to protect and nurture her offspring!. It is in humans mostly inherent love to seek to protect and love a child and feel one is overcoming the basal selfish carnal nature of placing primary importance on one’s own survival!. It can be argued the great elation and sense of well being received from such actions of grace feed our ego and enhance our sense of self importance, though I would say it is human nature to seek to approbate each action in mutual affection and gain!. To be able to gain peace and comfort in having a skill, time or action to contribute to the betterment of another is a form of wealth, instilling a sense of richness of soul!.

Yes it fortifies our Spirit and the surrounding Spiritual Energy to be at peace and in harmony with ones conscience and the world!. Therefore it cannot be considered an act of selfishness as it gives greater benefit or equal as that derived for the benefactor thereof!.

Well!.!. when the mama bird feeds the baby bird!.!. the food is slightly digested!.!. so it's giving the baby it's intestinal juices!?

But I guess the point is that the Mama is sacrificing the food it found!.!. not knowing or caring when the next food will come available!.!. in order to insure the survival of its young!.
That is faith!. Not knowing how or when you will make ends meet!.!. And like the innocence of a bird!.!. not putting too much thought into it!. Simply living, working, loving and "giving" and somehow, everything is always OK!.

Matthew 6:26 "Look at the birds of the air, that they do not sow, nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them!. Are you not worth much more than they!?Www@QuestionHome@Com
