Question: Heres my 2cents on humanity!?
I was just replying to an answer on the conscienceness of humans and how we are so much more advanced than other species than i tried to list a few such as how populous we are, but then you think of all the bugs, we are nothing in comparison!. Then i said well we have world dominance but that just isnt true, diseases such as AIDS and other incurable diseases do!. Well we have sky scrapers and buildings, then again termites have structures that would be like 3 times as tall as our tallest skyscraper in comparison!. We invent bogus things like math and biology and physics and chemistry to try to explain our world but that leads to a dead end; although seen everywhere, what can we do with them!? Sure the area of that box is 3ft^3 or the equation to a bullet's arch is -32x^2/10000+x or there are s, p, d, f, and g orbitals in which electrons can dwell!. So what have us humans done!? The only thing i can think of is we keep a history, a record, of our existence which is unique to our species!.

When the world is fueled by chaos and disorder, how can we expect any desired outcome or control!?

Your thoughts!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

While mathematics and sciences often seem a wild goose chase towards a single answer that can resolve a single problem, they are indeed included in the long list of things that define the human race!. among many other things, what makes us human is our unique tendency to ask questions and seek the answers!. Why is this disease killing people!? How can it be stopped!? Thus the premise for medical science!.
We are human because we are constantly seeking ways to improve our quality of life as a race!. This is why we document and record history - to learn from the mistakes of the past and be sure not to make them happen again!. If all problems facing the human race were not new, I'd say that our leaders should be historians!. But unfortunately, the problems of today and tomorrow often differ from the problems of yesterday!.
Here's where I disagree!. We may not be the most populous organism on earth, but we are indeed the most dominant!. Being dominant does not mean that there is nothing threatening you (i!.e!. incurable diseases)!. Dominance is defined by a superior ability to thrive as a species!. Thriving, meaning not only surviving, but also meaning having a greater understanding of the world!. No other species have even considered what is outside this earth!. Not only have we thought about it, we have relentlessly observed it, studied it, and even traveled to it!.
Other species, such as termites, have made accomplishments that are indeed great for them!. But we humans, make great accomplishment after great accomplishment, constantly raising the bar for ourselves!. Humanity is in part defined by our unstoppable ability to dominate any problem we face!. We will eventually cure AIDS and cancer as we have triumphed over other seemingly incurable diseases in the past!. We will eventually build a skyscraper 4 times larger than any standing today!.
Now here is something to think about!. What happens when we reach that problem that is truly impossible to solve!? What happens when an unstoppable object meets and immovable object!? Www@QuestionHome@Com

It is not worth 2 cents!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I know at least one other guy who thinks like you do!. His name is Ted Kaczynski!. If you're not quite sure where you've heard that name before, check out the first link below!.

If you're wondering just what use all our scientific knowledge is, well, just try doing without it!. Get rid of your computer (it uses those electron orbitals to work), your house (built with math), all medical technology including vaccines and antibiotics (biology), all metals & plastics (chemistry), all commerce (math again)!. In short just strip naked and go live a hunter-gatherer life in the woods, because that's life without any science or technology!. Humans actually did live like that at one time!. Life was very short, very hard, and very brutal!.

There's a lot more that's unique to humanity than the fact that we keep history!. The contents of that history itself are unique to us, because we're the only species that's developed enough intelligence to actually better our lot in the world and not be at the utter mercy of the climate, diseases, random chance, or predators!.

Evolution has created us from single-celled organisms that had a symbiotic relationship with all the other cells!. From that, we became invertebrates, which, again, lived peacefully!. Skip ahead a few million years, and here we are, blowing the heck out of each other!. We don't have claws to fight, we don't have wings to flee!. We don't have fur to protect us from the cold, we don't have a tail for stability!. If you look at a human being, we're pretty useless!. The thing we have is what we made from the Earth (weapons, vehicles, clothes, etc) But because we have tools, we think we are superior to the other species!. With that in mind, we spread across the world!. We used our intellect to try to understand the world around us!. Throughout that course, we lost sight of where we came from!. We had demoted all of nature to something inferior to people!. We thought we were too good for all this nature stuff, but we kept taking from it!. Using all the Earth has to offer!. What we didn't know is that we couldn't control nature, sure we figured it out, to a certain degree, but we still couldn't control it!. And that's where the chaos comes from!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

My thoughts are very much in line with yours+

It is becoming more and more obvious to everyone that unless we immediately stop our wanton destruction of our planet and its environment, its destruction will kill us!.
After all the air we are polluting, is the very air we ourselves have to breath!. The same with the water!. Climate!. The list goes on!.!.!.!.!.

My question to you is, when will we humans realize and admit, at we are our own enemy, and set about healing "mother earth"!.

The analogy is:
When destroying "mother earth" are we in fact!. killing the goose that laid the golden eggs!
