Question: What is the nature of coincidence!?
What things has happened in your life that was a coincidence!? Www@QuestionHome@Com

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker:
When two events occur close together in time (coincidence) and seem to be connected ("interesting coincidence"), I analyse them and attempt to determine if in fact they are related ("cause-and-effect") or not ("just coincidence"!.)

Most coincidences are not even interesting, like me pouring a cup of coffee at the same time the guy in the next cubicle is answering the phone!. I'm sure you agree there is nothing notable there!.

Some are cause-and-effect!. Both of us standing up in our cubicles when we hear the boss yelling down the hall!.

And a very few are the sort of interesting coincidences that some choose to term "synchronicity", which I don't believe exists!. Things that seem related, and yet by analysis are determined not to be!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Coincidence is our understanding of an experience that reveals our failure to understand the Sovereign nature of God Almighty!.

Or, to quote the Christians' older brother Judaism, "Luck [or coincidence] isn't a kosher word!."

I was answering another question, and I accidentally opened the Amplified Bible instead of one of the ones I normally use to research questions!. I quickly closed it and started to move on, before I considered that this "accident" might have been just so because the answer I was looking for was in this text as opposed to where I meant to look!. In this case, it was!. (Although sometimes accidents and coincidences occur for reasons we do not see until later, and even perhaps never!.)Www@QuestionHome@Com

Something that happens close enough to something else that it seems related but really isn't!. I've had a few weird ones, but I can't currently think of any!. I don't really pay much attention to things that don't have a plausible relation!. Maybe you could call me closed minded!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Ordinary Accident followed by another ordinary accident; in such a way, they seem related, but they aren't!.

"It's a sign dude!" HAHAHAWww@QuestionHome@Com

Life is random and everything is given a greater\lesser probability of happening due to past events!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

My birth and life are the best examples of coincidence!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
