Question: A Question about God!?
This isn't a question to vent an Atheistic perspective!. I do wonder though:

God exists!. Mankind exists!. If God exists, doesn't He need his creations to acknowledge the fact that he exists!? Without such acknowledgment, does God exist, or not exist!? And is the creation of Mankind perhaps due to the fact that both Mankind and God co-exist, where one must acknowledge God and God must acknowledge us!. But then doesn't that bring us both on the same plane, where we need each other to survive!?

Sorry for the conundrum!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

No!. I'm not religious, so I'm not defending a personal belief, but I did grow up in a religious household and I see an error in your logic!. You're just *assuming* that God made us in order to acknowledge his existence, and that he needs us to do so!. But that assumption is wrong!. So your question is founded on something that isn't even "true!." He doesn't survive solely on our acknowledgment and recognition of him!.

So you can quit worrying :)

But, of course, (at least in the Christian religion) we do need God for us to exist!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I recently attended the "Mars Society" where they brought in Protestant & Catholic Theologians on the subject of outer space!. The question switched from, "Is there life elsewhere" to "What is God's plan if there is life on other planets"!.

This Protestant Bishop did an extensive survey to the major five religions (Jewish, Christan (with a Sub-category specifically for Catholic), Muslim, Hindu, & Buddhist!. The conclusion for all is that there is life in outer space!. The Catholic Jesuit covered the history of science & the Church (Gallileo) and also noted that over 90% of the scientific research is founded by Catholic scientists!. In fact, each creator on the moon is named after a Jesuit Priest!.

Anyways, the Protestant & RC dude agreed that life must exist elsewhere - unoficially!. So, providing that this is a true statement, then we can conclude that God does not need us to acknowledge He exists, but rather, enjoys the fact that we can acknowledge His existance!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

As usual with these things, you won′t get a simple nor convincing
answer!. Is the same when you ask "if a tree falls in a forest, and there's nobody there to hear it fall, does it make any sound at all!?"

My answer would be (pretending god actually exists): he would exist without being aknowledge, but he would not be aware of himself!. That is, he wouldn't be councious of his own existence!.

Question number 1: If God exists, doesn't He need his creations to acknowledge the fact that he exists!?
Yes!.

Question number 2: Without such acknowledgment, does God exist, or not exist!?
I vote, exist!.

Question number 3: And is the creation of Mankind perhaps due to the fact that both Mankind and God co-exist, where one must acknowledge God and God must acknowledge us!.(!?)
I agree!.

Question number 4: But then doesn't that bring us both on the same plane, where we need each other to survive!?
Yes in degree, but no in actuality!. Perhaps we are actually more powerful than God because were are here living lives while he is off resting (the 7th day/Sabbath)!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

No!. If there is a thing "god" it is something that cannot be understood by man!. If man could understand god, than god would be man, and man god!. However, if god is that which cannot be understood, than it exists independently from man!. If it exists independently of man, than it does not require man to exist, and conversely, man does not need god to exist!.

In trying to define god, we create our own perception of god, however our own perception is limited by our understanding!. If we understood god, we would be able to act as god, and so become god ourselves!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

It seems to me the conclusion you are trying to reach is the premise you're starting with!. If man and God do not co-exist, but man is simply a creation of God's, then of course God would be an objective reality and His existence would not depend on our aknowledging Him!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

yes the way a person acknowledges is by faith, but when man fell the spirit of god left him a car canot function with out gas, a man without the spirit of god living in him, you have a man that cannot function like a man,you must be born again, that can only come from jesus you need his resurected life, life restored in man that adam lost that is what salvation is , without faith it is impossable to please god,so put your faith in the finish work of christ jesus and he will come in and restor you!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Possibly, if God exists then he would seem thoughtless and aloof, from this, mankind!. Though it looks as if the world is made for us, it most likely isn't!. God as soul!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I suppose if one believes God exists, then he does for that person, and if one believes he doesn't exist, then he doesn't for that person!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

God exists!. Then mankind exists!. God would like his creations to acknowledge Him but doesn't need it!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

hmmm well i guess that the reason he wont prove it is cause he wants to see if you believe in him and a christian would say the bible's the only evidenceWww@QuestionHome@Com

We are so unworthy to see God!.
He wants to see if we believe in him, without seeing him!.
You feel him!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

If you never met your parents and never acknowledged them, would they then not exist!? Www@QuestionHome@Com

God created us in order to confirm His existence through our acknowledgment!.
