2archaic : a whimsical quality or disposition!.

3: one that is markedly unusual or abnormal: as a: a person or animal having a physical oddity and appearing in a circus sideshow bslang (1): a sexual deviate (2): a person who uses an illicit drug c: hippie d: an atypical postage stamp usually caused by a unique defect in paper (as a crease) or a unique event in the manufacturing process (as a speck of dirt on the plate) that does not produce a constant or systematic effect!.

Neither since neither quality of the mind is important to them being rebellious!. They are rebellious because they seek to have greater autonomous control over their life!. Most of the time, however, they have not learned enough, nor are they willing to accept the accountability that autonomous action implies, to be allowed the freedom of their volition!. So their rebellious nature could be intelligent or stupid depending on their actions and what drove them to commit those actions!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Either one!. Rebellion is generally an attempt of the young person to differentiate themselves from their parents and other things they perceive to have defined them up until that point!. In actuality, I think a certain amount of rebellion is needed as the child must grow, and define themselves within their own minds and within the world!. As for Intelligent or stupid!? Well, that's just of matter of HOW the teen rebels!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

It depends on the purpose of their rebellion!. If they are rebelling to support a cause they believe in, rebelling against something they believe is unethical or rebelling against conventional norms because they are brave enough to be individualists then they are intelligent!. The world has been altered for the good throughout history by misfits & rebels!. Women got the right to vote thanks to other women rebelling against the society that wanted to keep them subservient and in the kitchen!. It's important for teenagers to break away from their parents a bit to define themselves and assert independence!.

If they are rebelling just for the sake of rebellion and putting themselves and others at risk, then they're being stupid (but it doesn't mean they are stupid)!. But I mean!.!.!.!.!.!.isn't that what your teenage years are for!?
