Critics of Descartes?

Question: Critics of Descartes!?

Complained that his argument for the existence of god is circular!. Explain what the circularity was supposed to be and why his argument is not circular!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

His argument is circular because he simply dreams up God!. The whole cartesian project is supposed to rid the mind of all preconceived notions brought by the thinker, to start with a clean slate as it were!. Descartes simply claims that he cant get the thought of God out of his head, that even when he clears his mind God is still there, and this proves that God exists!. Obviously there are flaws with this method because it is bringing in a preconceived idea into the project!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

I thought his argument for the existence of God is that everything in life has a pairing!. So the only part of the brain that doesn't have a companion is the pituitary gland so that must be the physical link to our souls!.!.!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

He may be a good mathematician ,
