Truth is what you know to be so!. Belief is what you think is probably so!. Illusion is what is apparently so and isn't, or what you have thought or believed to be so which wasn't!.

Truths: 1 + 2 = 3!. French is a Romance language!. Confucius was a man!.

Beliefs: (without consulting an atlas) The population of Rome is greater than the population of Paris!. French is as beautiful a language as Spanish!. Confucius was less intelligent than Lao-tze!.

Illusions: Christianity and Buddhism are in some similar sense "religions!." The earth is flat!. The sun and the moon are the same size!. Www@QuestionHome@Com
