Question: Is it good or bad, for a young man to have a noble innocence!?
In today's harsh and deceitful world, where it is becoming harder to trust people, and so much importance placed on being 'smarter' or guile or at times shrewd, has the quality of having noble innocence become a negative!?
what if a person, is fully aware of the reality of the world around him, and still remains untouched by its moral corruption!? or is able to detect attempts to trick him, or is able to forgive someone quickly!? is it stupidity to be honest all the time!? does innocent mean 'stupid'!? does noble innocence mean not smart!?
do you know someone who speaks intelligently, and yet can be said to have a certain innocence about him or her!? how are people likely to perceive a young man who is always honest, tells truth, at times is impulsive, but has a light, funny or quixotic personality!? would a girl be attracted to such a guy!?

That's not exactly innocence, is it!? I mean, if you can detect attempts to trick you, then you can think like a trickster!. So you don't mean naive, or childlike innocence!.
The question here might be, can you have your cake (childlike purity) and eat it too (know how the game is played, to protect yourself)!? I think the straightest answer is "no," true innocents are vulnerable!.
But if you're talking about someone who is idealistic and acts with moral integrity and righteousness, lacking resentment and ego, as well as being savvy about a "harsh and deceitful world," that's neither stupid nor innocent!. It's good!.
What's wrong with this picture is, the claim to being or seeming "innocent!." To be "honest all the time" is not necessarily kind or compassionate behavior, but it isn't innocent in someone who understands what deception is all about!. People I've met who project themselves as childlike are too often making up a story about themselves to justify doing what they want, while seeming righteous!. So frankly, I'd be wary of such a personality, because the upshot is that they're cunning in their own way!. I think I know what I'm talking about because I have been like that myself!.
Anyway, if there wasn't any such dissembling going on, deliberate goodness that doesn't take itself too seriously is a wonderful thing in any person, and yeah, it would be attractive!.

One cannot pretend to be innocent!. Once he may be innocent!. Second time also he cannot be considered innocent!. If anybody even if it is a small child, if it puts its finger near a burning candle, it will burn!. You can now understand even though the child is innocent, the candle fire will show its original quality of burning!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

although i think its good to have a noble innocence, the world doesn't!. unfortunately nowadays the world abuse and take advantage of such people and you might not be aware of it!. and forgiving some ppl is like giving them the green light to hurt you again!.

I sometimes consider humanity and morality to be impediments and weaknesses when in the company of those without and bereft!. To retain ones innocence with the acquisition of wisdom and understanding, the ability to love all because you are able to se their souls and their hearts is indeed a noble gift!. I live in a heaven under siege by hell, wherein demonic forces are roused in those I love against me!. I have found there is presence of evil, engineering the rousing of hatred and malevolence in the hearts of the good until love and peace and destroyed, and man but exists, endures and is forced to suffer life than dream of happiness and kinship!. It is a victory for the hells demons if one succumbs to their wiles and becomes closed minded and cold towards others!. Rather be a warrior of fortune and sow seeds of love and sunshine in times when your own heart is broken and spirit depleted!. Indeed some advise against this as the intended recipients take on only pain and woe whilst the hells worms feats and feed and spew forth venom at the very source and fountain of love and wisdom wherein they gained the ability to string a sentence!. Poor God!. Requires our assistance though it may seem he has turned on the good and favours the ruthless, immoral and debauched!.
