Hmm!.!. Philosophy can be distinguished from empirical science and religion!.

This is how it is defined!.!.

Philosophy is the name we have given to questioning, pondering, reasoning about love, morals, politics, religion!.
It helps humans by helping us to understand (at least in part) these things that make up such a massive proportion of everyday life, to theorise about them, to revisit older theories, add to them, tweak them!. It gives is insight into the deeper workings of things!.
Everybody has their own philosophies, and so everyone has their own view as to how the world works, what is right and what is wrong, what to believe and what not to believe!. While there are some widely agreed-upon philosophies, in philosophy it's each to his own - as the matters discussed in philosophy are often otherwise unsolvable or unknowable, and therefore much of philosophy can no more be proved than disproved!.

Some examples of classic philosophical questions:
- Why are we here!? Is everything predestined or is it all a great chain of coincidences!?
- Is there such a thing as God or gods!?
