Because of the absence of a philosophy behind the culture!. One of the last really good movies that I have seen was 300, and even that was based on the culture and philosophy of the Ancient Greeks!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

Nick - You're wrong!. The movie 300 is both historically inaccurate and phisophically tied to modern thought!. That movie is as representative of Greek thought as an Oliver Stone movie is of modern history!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I like Mythbusters, and almost anything on Discover, History, Or TLC, although they often air stuff that seems like mere fluff!.
