Question: How does the mind interact with the body!.!.!.!.!?
is the mind a material thing, or immaterial!? if immaterial, then how does it even interact with the material!? if material, then how does a mere certain configuration of atoms, and electricity, all of a sudden bring rise to this ultra complex mind!?

Strange!?define material!.the "mind"is a product of brain!.The brain is a result of its structure and,for want of a better word, its construction!.To use an analogy, the Computer is only a machine that can follow instructions in 1s or 0s,but can perform seemingly wondrous things, but it is no mind!.It is a configuration of atoms and electricity!.Perhaps, all it takes is to move the componants to a different configuration!.Would it then "become" a mind!.!?Perhaps the universe,or god, loves complexity!.If computer technology is based in electrical impulses between impure silicon, why aren't there smart rocks!?!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

The physiologic equipment and the anatomic structure of all new orders of life are in response to the action of physical law, but the subsequent endowment of mind is a bestowal of the adjutant mind-spirits in accordance with innate brain capacity!. Mind, while not a physical evolution, is wholly dependent on the brain capacity afforded by purely physical and evolutionary developments!. Page 670 - 1

3!. Physical (body and mind) death!. When death overtakes a human being, the Adjuster(Spirit) remains in the citadel of the mind until it ceases to function as an intelligent mechanism, about the time that the measurable brain energies cease their rhythmic vital pulsations!. Following this dissolution the Adjuster takes leave of the vanishing mind, just as unceremoniously as entry was made years before, and proceeds its Davine source!. Page 1230 - 2

Mind is your ship, the Adjuster(Spirit) is your pilot, the human will is captain!. The master of the mortal vessel should have the wisdom to trust the divine pilot to guide the ascending soul into the harbors of eternal survival!. Only by selfishness, laziness, and sinfulness can the will of man reject the guidance of such a loving pilot and eventually wreck the mortal career upon the evil shoals of rejected mercy and upon the rocks of embraced sin!. With your consent, this faithful pilot will safely carry you across the barriers of time and the handicaps of space to the very source of the divine mind and on beyond, even to the Paradise Father of Adjusters!.Page 1217 - 4

As a precaution to avoid upsetting anyone's ontological security (see FR Leavis' essay on ontological insecurity) I would read up on Rene descartes' work on cartesian dualism, and then look at the work of property dualism!. This question is one of the main questions/ bugbears in philosophy and is, it seems to me, entirely contingent upon whether one believes in the idea of a 'God' or not!.!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

the mind is a material thing of course!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Mind and body are the same energy!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

We need not get confused over this !. Let us live true to ourself !. Every thing else will take care of themself !.Www@QuestionHome@Com
